A Brownie Troop volunteering with our residents to create holiday wreaths.
Brownie Troops Bring Creativity and Fun!
The girls were amazing! The really engaged the Seniors they were paired up with: listening closely to understand through language barriers, speaking loudly to be heard by the hearing impaired, and making great eye contact to show their interest.

Both the Seniors and the girls had a great time!

Corte Madera 4th graders present Madeline
with her story called:
"Madeline's
Sweet Life."
Presenting:
Life Stories!
Each year 4th graders at Corte
Madera school in Portola Valley come to
Lytton and interview our residents for a program called Life Stories.
They meet 2 or 3 times with interview questions and spend the morning
getting to know all about their chosen friend and their lives. Then,
they assemble pictures, drawings, decorations and write a story to
present to the resident. It is a wonderful and moving experience for
both the students and our appreciative seniors!
