
Dr. Peter Pompei, M.D., F.A.C.P.
Dr. Pompei became Medical Director of Lytton Gardens in 1996. He is an Associate Professor of Medicine at Stanford University and active as a teacher in the Medical School, the Internal Medicine Residency and the Geriatric Medicine Fellowship. He has been honored with many teaching awards and the American Geriatrics Society Geriatrics Recognition Award. He is an active member of the American College of Physicians, the Society for General Internal Medicine, the American Geriatrics Society and the American Medical Directors Association. Dr. Pompei completed his undergraduate degree at Johns Hopkins, his medical degree at the University of Chicago, his residency in internal medicine at the University of North Carolina and his fellowship at Cornell University. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Geriatric Medicine and is a Certified Medical Director. His clinical interests are in delirium, dementia, peri-operative care and quality of life among older persons. He lives in the area with his wife and they have 2 sons.

Peter Cheng, M.D. Palo Alto Medical Foundation
Peter studied at Baylor College of Medicine specializing in Geriatrics and Internal Medicine. He is a fellow at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. His professional interests include: disease prevention, successful aging and medical teaching. Peter is a member of American College of Physicians, American Medical Directors Association, American Geriatrics Society. He has taught at Stanford University School of Medicine. Dr. Cheng is married and has two daughters. He is a violinist who enjoys orchestral and chamber music.

Michelle Lee, M.D. Palo Alto Medical Foundation
Michelle studied at University of California at Los Angeles. She completed her Internship and Residency in Internal Medicine at Kaiser Permanente 2004-2006. She did a fellowship in Geriatric Medicine at the University of California at LA and spent one year on the faculty at UCLA. Her professional interests include: memory, dementia, quality improvement. Michelle speaks medical Spanish and is a member of the American Geriatrics Society. Dr. Lee enjoys cooking, hiking and walking her dog.
