Kevin Gerber
President/CEO
Kevin Gerber is President and CEO of the Episcopal Homes Foundation, a not-for-profit, nondenominational organization providing housing and services to older adults in northern California. Prior to joining EHF in 2005, Mr. Gerber held the position of President and CEO of The Episcopal Home Communities in Alhambra, California since 2001. Mr. Gerber also served as Vice President, Operations of The Internext Group, Burbank, California and held a number of positions at California Lutheran Homes from 1987 until 1999, including Chief Operating Officer.

Kevin Gerber is a widely respected senior executive in the Continuing Care Retirement Community field. He has served several terms as a Director of the California Homes and Services for the Aging, and as a member of the House of Delegates of American Association of Homes and Services for the Aging. His involvement with the Continuing Care Accreditation Commission includes two terms as a Commissioner and many years as an evaluator. Mr. Gerber serves as a volunteer board member for several non-profit organizations. He graduated with a M.P.A. in Heath Services Administration from the University of Southern California; holds a certificate in Long-Term Care Administration and received his B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, graduating with distinction.

Bill Tobin
CFO (Episcopal Homes Foundation)
Mr. Tobin joined Episcopal Homes Foundation as its Chief Financial Officer and General Counsel in July, 2004. Prior to joining EHF, he served for four years as the Chief Financial Officer of East County Medical Group (ECMG), a managed care IPA in Contra Costa County that contracted to provide and arrange professional and other ancillary services to most major California HMO’s and had approximately 40,000 enrollees, including about 7,500 Medicare HMO enrollees, and annual revenues over $35 million.

Previously, Mr. Tobin served for five years as the Chief Financial Officer and then as the Chief Administrative Officer and General Counsel of East Bay Medical Network (EBMN), an integrated managed healthcare delivery system comprised of nine major hospitals and three large medical groups in Alameda and Contra Costa counties. EBMN contracted to provide acute care, professional and ancillary services under full-risk contracts with virtually all California HMO’s and served almost 200,000 HMO enrollees, including over 15,000 Medicare HMO enrollees, and annual revenues exceeding $150 million.

For the previous fourteen years, Mr. Tobin maintained a private law practice that provided legal, financial and other consulting services to professional and other service clients and to start-up companies. A major concentration of his practice was related to provider-side healthcare and managed healthcare companies. After separating from the U. S. Air Force where he was a pilot and then a Procurement & Contracting Officer, Mr. Tobin began his civilian career after law school in the tax department of Arthur Andersen in San Francisco.

Mr. Tobin received his B.S. degree in Accounting from the University of San Francisco, an MBA degree from the University of Utah while in the Air Force, and his J.D. degree from Mc George School of Law in Sacramento.

Marilyn Kennedy
COO
Ms. Kennedy joined Episcopal Homes Foundation in 2006. Prior to joining EHF she worked for Eskaton for three years as CCRC Executive Director and was then promoted to Vice President of Operations. Prior to Eskaton, she worked for Southern California Presbyterian Homes for 18 years. While at SCPH she held the positions of Continuing Care Executive Director, Director of Affordable Housing and Vice President of Assisted Living and Home and Community Based Services. She is a licensed in California as a Nursing Home Administrator and is certified as a Residential Care Administrator (RCFE).

Ms. Kennedy is a member of the Aging Services of California Board of Directors and currently also serves on the Planning Committee and the Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) Committee. She is a former Commissioner on the American Association of Homes and Services for the Aging (AAHSA) Continuing Care Accreditation Committee, member of the AAHSA House of Delegates and member of the Quality First Task Force. She received her B.A, in Elementary Education, University of Illinois, Chicago in Chicago, IL and an M.P.A, Long Term Care and Specialist in Gerontology, University of Arizona, Tucson, AZ.

Gery Yearout
Executive Director and VP Affordable Housing
Ms. Yearout has more than 30 years in healthcare administration. She joined Lytton Gardens in 1996 and oversees the company and directs the operations in the assisted living and residential services. She is the VP of Affordable Housing for Episcopal Senior Communities and oversees operations for their 3 sites. Immediately prior to Lytton, she served for five years as a regional administrator for a large East Coast rehabilitation hospital and healthcare company, running five sites. Her primary duties were operations and new development. Earlier in her career she worked in Early Intervention where she helped develop a national model of state and federally supported services for children 0-3 years old. Ms. Yearout has a bachelor of Science degree from Connecticut College and completed her Ph.D. (abd) both at the University of Zurich, Switzerland, and at New York University. She is also licensed as a Physical Therapist and an RCFE Administrator. She has authored multiple articles and is a frequent speaker on healthcare issues.

Jonathan Casey
CFO
Mr. Casey has worked in the financial billing and collection industry for more than 17 years in a variety of positions. His most recent corporate experience was with AT&T where he was responsible for the efficient operations of the Local Billing Product with more than $1.2 billion in revenues and more than 5.5 million Customers. Prior to that he was with Integretel/VRS Billing Systems where he helped to develop a billing product that was so successful that AT&T acquired the company. Prior to this experience he worked in the fields of engineering and logistics in the Aerospace/Defense Industry. He has developed and held positions in several non-profit organizations including Bay Area Center Stage, Community Cares and St. Luke’s Episcopal Church. His most recent non-profit experience was as CFO for Saint Andrew’s Episcopal Church and School in Saratoga, California where he had financial oversight over the entire organization with a budget of over $4 million. Additionally, his position required his financial oversight for two new building projects which integrated bond financing into the mix of contributions and fund raising for this $12 million effort. Mr. Casey attained his AS in Business, with Honors, at West Valley College, his BA in Business, with Honors, at Saint Mary’s College in Moraga and his MBA, with Honors, at Saint Mary's College in Moraga. Additionally, he holds certificates in Project and Program Management and is Six Sigma Green Belt Certified.

Linda S. Hibbs
VP of Health Care
Before joining the Lytton Gardens Health Care Center in 1993, Ms. Hibbs served as the Director of Nursing Services for Beverly Enterprises, a long-term care facility in San Francisco. Ms. Hibbs has also had extensive responsibilities in the areas of acute care, trauma and cardiac care at Westchester County Medical Center in Valhalla, NY, where she also served as Assistant Head Nurse and Head Nurse. Ms. Hibbs has a Masters Degree in Public Health Administration from the College of Notre Dame in Belmont, California, a BS from Pace University in Pleasantville, N.Y., and a Social Service Degree from Westchester Community College in NY. She is also a licensed RCFE Administrator.

Peter Pompei, MD, FACP
Medical Director of Lytton Gardens, Inc. (Health Care Center)
Peter Pompei, M.D., F.A.C.P.: Dr. Pompei has been Medical Director for Lytton Gardens since 1996. A distinguished doctor and educator, Dr. Pompei is currently Associate Professor of Medicine at Stanford University School of Medicine. He also serves at the Geriatric Research, Education and Clinic Center of the VA Palo Alto Health Care System, and holds multiple offices within the Stanford University medical system, with emphasis on geriatric care and internal medicine. Previously he held managerial and directorial positions with the University of Chicago Department of Medicine both as a medical practitioner and as an educator. Dr. Pompei hold an M.D. degree from the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine, and was Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine in 1993, and of Geriatric Medicine in 1998 and 1998. In 2000, he received the Henry J. Kaiser Family Foundation Award for Excellence in Clinical Teaching at the Stanford University School of Medicine.
